The IIJ Premium Contents Delivery Service enables stable, large-scale streaming of high-quality video content.
Service Features
Simple and Low-cost CDN
This simple CDN is specialized for delivery over HTTP/HTTPS. Range requests and downloads of large files are also supported.
Reduced Origin Server Load via Middle Caching
The middle cache server retrieves content from the origin server. The origin server can overload when the front cache server retrieves content directly from the origin server in response to access requests from end users. This can result in content not being retrieved properly, which can be prevented by using middle caching.
Delivery of Content from Anywhere in Japan
Front cache servers are installed at both east and west locations on the IIJ backbone to ensure efficient delivery of content from anywhere in Japan as well as to provide disaster recovery support.
