  In this report, we analyze traffic over the broadband access services operated by IIJ and present the results each year. Here, we again report on changes in traffic trends over the past year, based on daily user traffic and usage by port. Then in the latter part of this report, we take a look back at changes in traffic over the past five years, encompassing the COVID-19 pandemic.

  The report traces the history of virtualization technology, which underpins today's cloud computing systems, back to the 1960s, and also looks at what sort of virtualization technologies are used on IIJ's cloud services and the features that IIJ has implemented.
