IIJ Cloud Network, Remote Access, and DNS Services Registered with ISMAP | News

TOKYO - May 8, 2024 - Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (TSE Prime: 3774), one of Japan's leading Internet access and comprehensive network solutions providers, today announced that its cloud-based network services IIJ Private Backbone Service, IIJ Private Access Service, and IIJ Cloud Exchange Service, its remote access service IIJ Flex Mobility Service/ZTNA, and its DNS service IIJ DNS Platform Service have been registered on April 30, 2024 on the ISMAP Cloud Service List as a service meeting the security standards of the Information system Security Management and Assessment Program (ISMAP) for government information systems.

ISMAP is a program designed to have cloud services assessed and registered in advance as meeting the security requirements of the Japanese government so as to ensure a level of security and facilitate smooth introduction in government procurement of cloud services. In principle, governmental organizations procure cloud services from those registered on the ISMAP Cloud Service List.

ISMAP registration recognizes that the services meet government information system-level security standards set by the Japanese government, enabling customers to use the services with greater assurance of their safety and security.
